Born in Bogota, Colombia and raised in New York, Elizabeth spent her childhood gravitating towards anything that utilized her creativity and imagination.
She spent her high school career at Harborfields High School perfecting her skills and portfolio so that she could attend one of the top art schools in Manhattan. Elizabeth went on to attend and study at some of the best art universities including: Parsons School of Design, The School of Visual Arts, and The Fashion Institute of Technology. In 2005, Elizabeth graduated with honors from The School of Visual Arts earning her BFA in Photography. After working in the professional industry for a few years for companies such as Volkswagen, Playboy, and boutique design firm BOX Creative, Liz returned to her alma mater to earn a MFA in Photography with a minor in Graphic Design.
Elizabeth is currently based out of New York and Los Angeles where she is an experienced Social Media and Digital Marketing professional. Over the past few years, she has created, designed, branded, and managed campaigns for leading skateboarding companies 5Boro, Torro! , Skatesauce, and the Harold Hunter Foundation. Through these connections she was recently brought onto the upcoming KIDS film documentary, as Social Media and Brand Manager. She most recently worked as part of the Art Department at leading NYC Creative Management Agency, Judy Casey, Inc. as their Social Media Manager.
Her capabilities include standard and digital photography, graphic design and illustration, social media management (across all platforms), branding and marketing.
The only thing Liz loves more than social media and design is watching her New York teams dominate. (Rangers, Knicks, Giants!) During the NHL, NBA, and NFL seasons, Liz can be found attending games wearing her lucky jersey(s) and waving the obligatory foam finger. (yes, she owns one for each team) When she is not avidly supporting her teams, Liz can be found wandering Manhattan or Los Angeles, with her iPad, iPhone, and sketchbook in hand taking in all that the city has to offer.
